Mason and Aidan have spent the last 14 days with their mom, Randi. It has been very tough on Emery and Hunter, as well as Ben and I. We love having all 4 of the kids together as much and as often as we can. During the 2 week stay with their mom, we asked if the boys could attend the Oquirrh Temple open house on Thursday the 11th, and they were able to go with us. It was a very touching feeling to be able to walk through the house of the lord with those 4 kids by my side. I haven't felt that much peace and comfort from my Heavenly Father in a while, and to know in the house of the lord, with my family beside me that we ARE a family, as hectic as it may be with schedules and other parents, we Are still a family, and that our Heavenly Father is watching over us.
Now moving on... Get me off my spiritual high! lol My wonderful, sexy husband took me up to Snowbird overnight to getaway for a little while. It was beautiful, we stayed at the Inn, where our room had it's own wood fire place, we swam and sat in the hot tube, we walked around Snowbird, paid a ridiculous amount on dinner and then had a great breakfast at their Sunday Brunch. What is the point off all this... I'd like to say because my husband likes to spend money like there's no tomorrow! But that's not why, some of you may know others may not... Ben received his "Official Deployment" papers in the mail, he will be leaving our family in the middle of September and return home May 2010. It's a 6 month deployment overseas to Afghanistan, but he has tactical training for a month before he heads over seas. This is why I have quit my job, because I need to be home with the kids. We are asking for everyone's support and prayers not only to keep Ben safe while he's gone, but also to keep our family together.... I will take on Ben's custody of Mason and Aidan while he's gone and we will continue to go by the divorce decree, unless Randi throws a fit over it and says No, that she wants full custody of the boys while Ben is gone. At that point we will have a very broken up family, with lots of tears, and lots of explaining to do to 4 little kids who have come to rely one another.
The announcement is out.... so everyone that thought I was PREGO... That would be a BIG NEGATIVE! I have enough to deal with!
I signed Emery and Hunter up for swim lessons with Geri's, they have done great! I think by the end of the 2 weeks the teacher will finally have them separated because they do not leave each other alone every time she turns her back!
Well, this is how we're kicking off our summer! Stay tuned for good times, be safe and get lots of SUN! We're off to Uncle Jacks Cabin this weekend and will take lots of pictures!

Carrie's getting canned in August so she'll be around if you need someone to hang with!
Dear Tera,
I am sorry to hear that your hubby will be going over seas. I love that you are such a great mom and that you are relying on the Lord even though you feel that he may have let you down in the past. I am so proud of you and all that you are doing. You always were one of my favorites!
Love,
Jennifer
