Goodbye's aren't forever....

Here's a few pictures taken the day that Ben left. When we got home from the airport that morning and all the kids recieved a bear from Ben that tells them a special message while he is gone.



The kids did pretty good at the airport, Hunter was the only one that shed tears. Well besides Ben and I, we bawled! We had dog tags made for each of the kids and that's what Ben gave them while we were at the airport. They say their names, birthdates, OEF Afghanistan 2009-2010, and stay strong.

EOD unit that Ben works with brought all his gear to the airport and said their goodbyes.

Uncle Ben telling Owen goodbye... it will be amazing to see how much Owen changes in the 6 months Ben is gone!
