A little bit of playtime leads to SCHOOL STARTING!!!

My birthday is this upcoming weekend so we celebrated a little bit of it this past weekend since we had all 4 kids and we won't have all 4 next weekend. So I decided that for my birthday treat we would go to Nickelcade and then Red Robin for dinner, this decision was reached because well... I think of my kids most of the time and I wasn't in the mood to entertain them myself that day! It worked out great though because they had a blast and once again... their Mom is AWESOME!!! How many Mom's actually want to spend their birthday playing video games at a germ feasted stinky place?!?! Most choose a romantic night away from the noise, alone with the hubby. (Hint, Hint Hubby!) Here's a few photo's of our fun, I have no clue how Emery didn't end up in any of them.

I love how deep in thought and concentration kids get when they are playing video games!! NOT!! I hate it that's why we dont own gaming systems at our house! They get too addicting for kids... I would rather see mud fights and Indiana Jones! There's my venting for the day!!

Oh my, this brought a huge SMILE :) to my face! They are so BIG and yet just yesterday they fit on the horses!

Aidan told me to stop bugging him I was making him die... I had to give him two nickels because he said the camera made him die! How do you figure that?!

Again with the concentration! Too bad they never look like this at school!

Saturday is a special day it's the day we get ready for Sunday... Not!!! Saturday was the White Family reunion at Pineview, it was a great day to be on the lake and an even greater day to be with family! Laura and Paul brought up some kayak's, Lisa and Steve brought up a raft for the kids, Grandpa Jeff brought the boat and trampoline tube, and Tennants... well we're just happy that they came because my kids were in heaven after they showed up! bahahahaha We played in the water, sand, and roasted in the Sun! Elizabeth thought she would be sneaky and ended up pushing Ben over in the lake... that was the WRONG thing to do! About 15 minutes later we watched as Ben chased her down the beach, past many many people, kicked her feet so they came out from under her... she hit the sand on her knees and stomach and rolled her way right into the lake!!! HAHAHAHA I really wish we would've filmed it, one of the funniest things I have ever seen! She spoke at church on Sunday and we just laughed because you could see her bruised knees while she was sitting on the stand!

Thanks for the great day White Family! We had a great time!... But now it's time for school!!!

Well school started today for 3 out of the 4 kids, all of them were a bit nervous and had a hard time sleeping the night before because they were so giddy. I really can't ever remember being that excited for school... but Emery was up at 530 this morning waiting patiently in her bed to go! Mason is starting 2nd grade at Viewmont Elementary in Murray, Emery is in 1st grade at Diamond Ridge Elementary in West Valley, Aidan is in preschool at Challenger in West Jordan and last but not least we have Hunter who will be starting preschool at Grandma Cindy's class in 2 weeks in West Valley. Don't ask why the kids are spread out all of the Salt Lake Valley, it's not a happy spot with me! The kids LOVED their first day of school and it's going to be another BUSY, Jam-PACKED School year!!! So here's to making the best and learnin' stuff this year!!

Before I end this LONG post.... Who can guess what our new pet is?! We have already had 4 Chickens and 2 Ducks this year, but my wonderful husband decided to come home with a new addition one day... How many more years till the kids move out?! hahahaha
