So the end of April Mason had his Pinewood Derby at pack meeting. It was a long work in progress to get the car going... Ben wanted all the kids to make a car but after he figured out how hard it is to try and please 4 kids he knew he wouldn't make the deadline by the race.... So Mom came to the rescue and saved the day!! Ben is SOOO lucky to have such and awesome wife! hehehe Mason's car turned out awesome, he really enjoyed working on it and now we have a year to finish all the other cars before the next race!
Mason ended up coming in 3rd place overall in the entire race!!!! WOO HOOO!!! We are so proud of him and the hard work that went into his car! We were totally shocked at how well his car did for this being his very first race and we have taken notes and have a game plan for the next derby!
