We decided we need to try and get one camping trip in this summer since we didn't do too well going last year, so we packed up and headed up Big Cottonwood to Spruces! It was beautiful and we ended up getting a great spot! We brought Ryker's booster seat and sat him in the dirt he was happy as can be as long as he had food to eat and feed the creatures around him!
The kids were tasked to help Dad set up the tent... it took a while, but they got it and were proud!
By that time we said let's go on a hike! So we headed to Doughnut Falls!
Aidan made new friends... when he figured out it wasn't his family he came looking for us quick!
Ryker decided it was nap time and fell asleep right when we started walking!
Ben took the kids up and over the waterfall to the very top.. they loved it! Ryker and I were done waiting after the first 30 minutes! Jenni ended up coming up to do the hike with us, she was a better sport about the long adventure then I was!
Our little troopers! After the hike it was time for dinner!
We headed back to camp and made tin foil dinners and cooked them in the fire!
After dinner came time for the good stuff!...

It was freezing by then, so the kids had no problem going to sleep in their warm beds!
I swear a few short hours later... we woke up to this! The monster was up and ready to play!
And who can say no to that face!? Not me!
