We had a quiet 4th of July at our house since the 4 older kids were at their other houses. We took Ryker out to dinner and then checked out fireworks, unfortunately we didn't bring the camera with us.
On July 5th when all the kids got to our house for the weekend we headed to West Jordan's Un-Rodeo! It's the first time they have ever held the event and we will definitely go again, the kids had a blast! The night started off with a cool flag ceremony, followed by ATV barrel racing, horse racing and wagon racing! The main point of the rodeo was keep the audience involved!

After the racing events they had the kids come onto the arena and split them up into age groups. Then they were given wooded horses and raced against each other! Emery won out of her group and ended up getting to take her horse home with her, the boys did great just participating!

The next event they once again called all the kids to the arena, by this time it was raining and everything was getting muddy, but the kids didn't want to go home! So they headed down where they had laid sawdust down and hid 1.00 coins and told the kids have at it! All of them at least got one dollar, Aidan took home 7 and Hunter 5! They loved this event!
Next was all the women's turns! I honestly think they just wanted to see us all get muddy... cause that's exactly what happened!
The final event was kids' bull riding! Which is always awesome to watch!
