Rainy Sunday Afternoon

Today Ben wanted to go for a drive in the mountains hoping to see snow... but with the rain coming down we were a little hesitant that there was enough snow for the kids to enjoy. So instead, being the creative person that I am we worked on some projects we were going to do later this week and they turned out great! Our first craft was ghosts, I found this craft off of another blog and thought my kids would love it, and indeed they did! We made faces on cups and then melted them for a few minutes in the oven, when they're done in the oven you pull them out real quick and shape them. It's actually pretty cool looking and they turned out great!

The final product!
The next project of the day was painting our pumpkins. Since the kids have two houses to carve pumpkins at we opted a few years ago to paint pumpkins instead of carve them to mix it up a bit. It's turned out to be a big success because the kids don't need us to help them and they don't get all slimy; so most of them prefer painting them a lot more then carving! From the results it looks like Ghost busters was the main theme this year and Fighter jets!

Have a Safe and Happy Halloween!!!
Love,
The Franks n' Pease Family
