Aquarium

Emery and Hunter have been on spring break all last week. Emery and Hunter got to hang out with Grandpa and Grandma Cindy on the first two days of their break, they went swimming, made some money off them and got to relax. Day 3 they hung out with Mom all day, did homework and cleaned the house, they weren't too happy! So on Thursday I took them to the aquarium because it was raining once again! They have been there a few times before but they were still excited because my parents tagged along and they hadn't ever been there. We walked through all the displays and Emery told them all about the different sea creatures. Hunter had one thing on his mind however and that was the sharks!

In awe with how the circle of life works!

Emery had never worked up the courage on past visits to touch the sting ray, she did this time however! I don't know if it was because Grandpa followed her around trying to get her to do it or because she really wanted to?! She touched it though and was very proud of herself!

Hunter was obsessed with the shark tank. While he was looking at all the animals swimming in the back ground the shark would swim right up to his face and when you told him to look he would finally focus and jump every time because they were right next to him! I laughed everytime!

Emery in the boat.... Hunter refused to get in! hahaha

As Grandma Cindy put it... "take our picture Tera we'll pretend we went on a cruise during spring break"!

Grandpa drove and so after we were done at the aquarium he went on one of his road trips where he doesn't tell anyone where he is going no matter how many times you ask or no matter how much you complain. We ended up at Cabela's and as he put it.... "why did we pay for to look at fish when we could've come here for free?" Good one Dad. Needless to say the kids liked looking at the "Utah Fish!"

Emery loved that it's winter one one side and summer on the other!

They even got their lessons on the "Utah shark" the pike and both stated they will not be swimming or going on the tube at Pineview again. Grandpa and I just laughed and said "oh yes you will, even if we have to throw you in!"

I freaking HATE when dad just drives somewhere and you don't wanna go and he won't inform you, even tho you've already made plans and DON"T wanna go.
