So we have been super busy bringing the school year to a close!!! YAY!! Ben and I finished finals and decided to take the summer off of school so we could actually play for a few months and then start up in the fall. Mason has pine wood derby this month, that Ben is in charge of! Emery made it into the school talent show. There were 3 cuts and she is thrilled she made it in! Our 2 little boys are getting SO excited to go into first grade, it's going to be a LONG summer for them! Ryker said his first word this week!! MOM and Mama!! He sits in his bed yelling it every morning; music to my ears! He's getting so big, we love it! Now onto the reason I posted!..
If you know me, you know how anal I am about my boys' hair. I can't stand it when it gets past a certain point, therefor they get haircuts every 4 weeks! Jessica (our hair lady) LOVES US!! ha ha Ryker has had his hair trimmed 3 times since he was born and it has been driving me nuts! I decided he was probably big enough to sit in the chair and have the razors taken to his head... if he wasn't then he was going to be bawled! So here are Ryker's "official" first haircut pictures!
"Mom.. What the heck are you doing to me?! You're crazy woman." You know that's what he's saying!
He took a few minutes and studied Jessica!
Then he took a few more minutes and studied the clippers!
After he was ready Jess got started! His neck is very ticklish!
He did a great job though! Now I need to get a picture of the end result!
On another note... have you ever wondered what your son would look like as a girl?! I don't have to wonder, I just have to pull out Emery's baby pictures and there Ryker is! Every time I pull out a picture the boys say... "oh, Ryker is so cute! Mom why do you have Ryker in a dress? How come we didn't get cake with Ryker? etc, etc." So there you have it... Ryker looks like his sis! Every now and then he'll pull a Mason, Aidan, or Hunter face... if you look quick sometimes he looks like one of the boys, but when it comes down to it he looks like Em! ha ha These are scanned in.. but I thought they were funny!

He is so grown up getting his hair cut, to cute! He is totally Emery's twin! He definitely has more Sweet DNA than Frank, at least at this age, sorry Ben=)
